This session will highlight the Texas Success Initiative (TSI), including the TSI Assessment (TSIA). Special attention will be given to HB2223, including its corequisite requirements and how, in conjunction with other existing reform efforts, it is working to help close equity and attainment gaps to meet the goals of 60x30TX,the state’s higher education strategic plan. Data will be shared regarding HB2223 fall 2018 outcomes in addition to the recommendations approved in the 2018-2023 Statewide Plan for Serving Under-prepared Students.
